Bumpstops;                                                                                                  

Also known as bump rubber or end-stop. They act as an cushing at the end of the damper stroke. At the same time they are  a safety device as they avoid bottoming of the suspension. Most of the time they are made of a urethane-/rubber-compound for maximum absorbtion of energy. Intrax bumpstops have been specially developed to absorb the maximum amount of energy without giving the sensation of being in the way. This is a major advantage when riding over curbstones on the track, or hitting an unexpected bump on a country road on a lazy sunday afternoon.
